3.Short technical description of the machines.
3.1 Machines layout
The main rotation is abrasive disk rotation.
The feeding working movements are three types: longitudinal, transverse and vertical.
The “Cross table” is the main item of all our machines: the carriage with abrasive disk realizes the vertical
movement; the processed detail - longitudinal and transverse movement.
The straightforward movement's guiders for all three axes are rolling ones, this way allowing good leading
accuracy and reaching large scope of the realized speeds, including speeds very near to 0.
3.2 Basic movements
Longitudinal movement
The longitudinal movement is performed by hydraulic cylinder; stroke is setting by non contact sensors.
The maximal value is 840 mm; the speed setting is grade less
(manually by dial turn) in the limits of 1,5-25 m/min.
The maximal longitudinal stroke varied for different models depending on the working table length.

Cross movement
he transverse movement is performed by crossing table carrying upper table with fixed processed detail.
The transverse movement is automatic and manual type. In both cases the rotating driving movement is
converted in straightforward movement by screw-nut gear ( for bigger accuracy the nut halves are under
pressure one toward other by springs , allowing this way zero tolerance.)
The fine manual feeding has minimal incremental 0,001 mm, the coarse manual feeding
- 3 mm. per one revolution of relevant flywheel.
The transverse auto movement is performed by hydro motor. There are two auto feeds: continued and non
continued (stepped).The stroke is set by contact sensor and two mobile cams. Continued feed speed is
step less set (manually by dial turn) in the limits of 0, 25-1, 3 m/min.; non continued speed - 0,1 – 15 mm./stroke.
The maximal transverse stroke varied for different models depending on the working table width.

Vertical movement
The Vertical movement is performed by the carriage, carrying the grinding spindle with abrasive disk.
The vertical movement is manual and automatic type.
The minimal fine manual feed incremental is 0,001 mm.
The coarse manual feed incremental is 1 mm per 1 revolution of the relevant flywheel.
The vertical automatic feed is hydraulic type and it is regulated in 0,001 – 0,045 mm
limits of interval of 0,001 mm.
The end of automatic feed (the end size is reached) is regulated by contact sensor.
Abrasive disk rotary movement
The grinding is driven by two-speed induction motor by means of flexible coupling
The spindle assembly is using four precise angle rolling bearings, mounted under advanced pressure.
The spindle flange is based onto the spindle alongside precise processed conical surface.
The allowed radial beating of this conical surface towards turning axis is 0,003 mm.
The sizes of the grinding disk are standard for every worldwide grinding disk producers.
Special disks, used to grind with their faces are available after preliminary order.
The two-speed motor drive allows increasing to bigger revolutions after some wearing out of
the grinding disk diameter and reach of optimal grinding peripheral speeds.
3.3 Electrical Equipment
All flat-grinding machines are supplied completed with electrical equipment. The electrical
apparatus is located in separate electric cabinet. All contactors are located in the machine
electric cabinet panel. Weak current part has cam
relays and is placed onto a frame in machine electric cabinet also. Control parts – buttons
and switches are onto machine control panel.
All remaining elements – motors, electric magnet distributors and switchers are mounted in
the machine.
The electrical installation production strictly follows the client requirements and the order.
All electrical elements are certified with CE safety sign.
3.4 Hydraulic equipment
The hydraulic system provides the following functions:
- table longitudinal movement
- non continued transverse feed of the cross table
- continued fast transverse movement of the cross table
- continued transverse movement of the cross table with variable speed drive
- automatic vertical feed of the grinding carriage
Driving system nominal pressure – 1,5 MPa
Driving system tank volume is 130 dm3 for MX-M/32 oil, filtrated by 10 µ m filter.
Instead of MX-M/32 oil you may use the IGP-18 russian oils (IGP-30), “Shell Tellus 27” /
“Shell Tellus 29” / ,
“Mobil-DTE Oil 24” as well as and other mineral oil with anticorrosion , no foaming and
long life characteristics, which are the same or near to viscosity class ISO 3448 32.
Driving system flow rate is 28 dm2/min.
